Okay, what's next?????

Tonight, we put the finishing touches at Aurora house, just a few decorative accessories.  Worked at Firestone part of the day, finishing outdoor flower beds, unclogged garbage disposal, took another neighbor on a tour of the house!!! If just one of the neighbors had a friend looking for a house, we would have this one sold. Anyway, we listed it with ReMax of Marble Falls yesterday. so it is officially on the market.

Now, on to other things.  Moving the Marble Falls showroom, effective March 1.  I went on a mission to find an office desk on Thursday and did I hit the jackpot!  After searching local furniture store and office supply places, I remembered talking to a friend of mine last week and she told me she was closing her office and going to work for someone else.  HMMM, wonder if she had any office furniture for sale!  As luck would have it she had two. I thought I only needed one, but they are soo pretty and I LOVE office furniture!  Sorry, that iis just me! So, we pick them up Monday, we are about 70% packed, will finish tomorrow and Monday. Then, Tuesday is show time.  Hope to be ready for company by te 15th of March... Better location, downtown, one block from the Main Street district, and walking distance to everywhere dowtown.  should have lots more traffic there.  Hope we are staffed for it,,,,,

Its all in the Details....

Lots of them.  Outside stuff  yard work at Firestone  Installed new closet shelves today,  undercabinet lighting took the electrician way too long.  But they look soo goood!  Really highlights the awesome backsplash tile and glass mosaic we did.  Now, trying to round up enough furniture to stage it, since I used most of our stash to stage Aurora.   Our workroom started on a new coverlet and bedroom ensemble for the master bedroom .  I know we will pull it all together, we always do!!!

New Beginnings

Well, lots happening this week.  Our plans took a detour when our grandson, Asher, decided to come into the world 2 weeks early!  Must be impatient, just like me!  So, a flying trip to Houston last weekend after a full day of work in the yard at Firestone made for a long week.  But, holding a new baby is so worth it! Mom and baby doing well, but big brother Maddox has the flu, so he has to be at arm's length for a few days. Don't worry Maddox, in no time at all you will be teaching him everything!

Back at Aurora, we got furniture moved and arranged Wednesday. Just a few accessories, you know we can always find something else to add!  But okay for now.

Firestone,  two days of cleaining, the place shines!  We have had prospective buyers in two or three times, plus inquisitive neighbors!  Oh well, welcome to the neighborhood!  Patio screening is finished, finishing touches. Tomorrow, pressure washing the siding etc, trimming bushes , finishing out the closets since the new carpet was installed Friday, we are good to go!  What will we do with our evenings when this is done!!?  Hopefully, on to another!

But first, our Marble Falls showroom will be moving, March 1.  More on that later.....

The Home Stretch

Furnishingsfor Aurora, we made a plan today, moving some furniture to Aurora (if it doesn't sell first, another prospect is considering it!)  If no offer, staging starts Tuesday.

On the Firestone house, appliances were delivered on Friday, this weekend will be spent working outside, Should be 70 deg, perfect for what we need, trimming the shrubs, rescreening the patio enclosure, etc
