Esteresa

Today we start on our latest project. Simple bathroom update will include removing the jewel tone striped wallpaper and brass fixtures from the nineties and replacing it with a soft beige textures paint and oil rubbed bronze fixtures.  Keeping on mind our Texas Hill country theme throughout the rest of the home a little bit of the Texas star will definitely be a finishing touch.  Check out the photo album houseonesteresa. Our latest transformation

We finished the Master Bath of our latest project.  Removed the jewel toned striped wallpaper, which was very fashionable, in its day.  Its day has passed@!   Our contractor removed the paper, textured the walls and painted them a soft Sherwin Williams Kilim Beige. This is a great color, goes with so much. We had a blue tiled shower that we are not changing at this point, since it is in good shape, The fish shower door may be replaced after the holidays or we may hang a shower curtain over it!

The Hollywood Vanity Light Bar with a mirrored back plate is gone.  YAY!  Replaced with Oil rubbed bronze light fixture, all shiny brass receptacles, etc have been replaced by oil rubbed bronze, Such a little thing makes such a huge difference.

There is a linen cabinet in this room, we also painted it to match the walls, it was white with brass knobs.  Kilim Beige with square oil rubbed bronze knobs brought it in to this millennium.  The baseboard and door and window trim were painted Pure White to accent the Kilim Beige,  makes it pop.

A Faux suede cornice, from fabric left over from other projects in the home, is the final touch.  Since everyone has Thanksgiving plans, we will install it after this holiday, but the home is definitely for a family getaway for Christmas.   More to follow picturetrail.com/houseonesteresa
