Lots going on in Marble Falls!

Wow lots going on this week!  Our Building Association of the Highland Lakes had a mixer/networking opportunity Tuesday night. Our new business cards and brochures for our new location came in on Tuesday , just in time!  Great pizza, and cold drinks, were enjoyed by all, and the event was well attended.

On the store front,  our new Marble Falls location is finally coming together.  Our son Matt put the finishing touches on our book racks and we have all our fabric books finally hung. Travis put the back storage room in order on Wednesday, along with our new slipper chairs and bench with the great Couture Covers, slipcovers that we can change with the seasons!YAY!  Spring now says, soft green, yellow and blue geometric pattern on a beige background for the chairs, and an ivory microfiber cover on the bench affords us ample seating now.Come fall, we can easily change, and very inexpensively.  Next, for some tables... still looking..

Got our new sign permit today, and ordered the sign for the building.  Lettering on the windows, so everyone can find us!  Love being right downtown, looking forward to walking around to all locals and meeting and greeting.  As soon as our new window covering samples arrive, we will be scheduling our open house/ribbon cutting.

Still looking for our next "refresh" project...The last two that we did are still on the market, and been showing lots...Spring is in the air...

Happy First Day of Spring!!

Today is the first day of spring, and it has been a long cold winter in Texas.

We are almost settled in to our new Marble Falls store.  This week, we got the last of the fabric books hung up, and our new administrative assistant helped put the finishing touches on the window covering samples, and we ordered some new chairs, custom drapery and couture covers for existing chairs.

We went to Austin yesterday, and found some great bookcases for the rest of our samples in the showroom, and look forward to getting our internet permanently hooked up tomorrow, Monday.  We will be ready for our grand opening and ribbon cutting very soon,  Just in time for the bluebonnets, I bet!!

Now, we are looking for our next home improvement project, looked at a few in Marble Falls today.

Stay tuned....

March 1 is finally here!

Well, it is March 1st, and we are moved.  At least, everything from the Marble Falls store is in one place.  Our Hunter Douglas displays, the Interceramic and the Mohawk and DalTile displays are in order. Now, where to put all those fabric books?? Everytime I move them, I am amazed at how many we have! Downsize? Maybe, don;t know yet

The new location on Main Street will be very visible, we already had three walk in visitors today! Friends,, but so glad to see them.  Son Matt comes tomorrow night to help us with the finishing touches for the store, as well as the Firestone house.  I better get a good nights sleep!  More later......Photos to follow,,,,,
