Countdown to our latest transformation project

Wednesday we will get an inspection on our latest project in Horseshoe Bay. If it passes (HA) we will close next week and the fun begins.  This is a spacious but neglected home in a great area, close to but not on the golf course!  Getting rid of the popcorn on ceilings will be first order of the week, then paint, flooring, new countertops in kitchen and bathrooms.   The bathrooms are graced with the cultured marble tops with the "shell" sinks.  Can't wait for the shells to go back to the sea!!  The companion shells are on the toilet seats!

New granite, either slab or tiles, we will see.  This will be our most ambitious project yet, as it needs lots of outside work too.  More to come...

Memorial Day weekend

What a great weekend.  Saturday was spent catching up on things neglected in the past 3 weeks of having fun on vacation and getting our clients homes ready for Memorial Day. Saturday night , watched a movie . Sunday afternoon, decided to start painting the back fence.  Snowball effect , bought an umbrella and side table to go with the cool new club chairs and settee I got from Outback Unlimited in Marble Falls. Then, bought a spray paint outfit so we could paint the fence faster.  Sometime this summer we should have a really cool outdoor sitting area...And we still have Monday to finish up.

Our latest home transformation project should begin in 2 weeks, Our offer was accepted on a house on Powder Horn in Horseshoe Bay.  Planning stages, we went and measured the rooms for paint and flooring on Thursday, so that when we close, we are ready to go.

More to come.....

Hola!!

Hola,

Dave & I just returned from Riviera Maya, and had a wonderful time.  Now, back to work.  Lots of projects in the works.  Still working on another investment house, trying iron out financial details, it is a pre-foreclosure and we are trying to work with the bank to keep that from happening.  More on that later

Our client from a previous home transformation has purchased another house and we are continuing to work on it, Paint, new lighting, now more new carpet.  And 1 block from another ongoing project. I love when neighbors work together like that!

We are in Houston now helping our son move to another house, and working out the details of setting up our sales office in his home.  Right now though, mostly just moving furniture.  The fun part will be later.

Finally we participated in the first ever Building Industry of the Highland Lakes tabletop Home Products show at the BIA offices on Broadway in Marble Falls.  Turnout was light, but everyone's booth looked amazing and alot of great networking among vendors.  Next year will be even better, I bet

Okay,  that is all for now  ...
